But this people is compromised.
They’ve been plundered and robbed.
They have lost—things, liberty, place, and name.
They are all trapped in holes and tucked away in prisons.
They’ve been plundered and depleted with none to the rescue. They’ve been stolen away with none to insist, restore. Is. 42:22
There is a story about a man who was at a Flea Market when he came across a stand that had old instruments. As he looked around he found what once was a beautiful violin, but the finish was gone along with the bridge. all the strings and tuning pegs. He asked how much the asking price was, the stand owner said, “just take it, it’s worth nothing.”
The man being a master musician and repaired instruments, took it home and began the process of getting it into playing condition once again. Although it looked hopeless and unredeemable, everyday brought new life back into the instruement. Finally, that day of final tuning came and as he drew the bow across the strings a beautiful sound resonated. He then took the violin back to the man who gave it to him and asked if he remembered it. Of course the man said no, but that he would buy it from him.
“Buy it from me? It’s not for sale. You gave me this violin a while back and I restored it” the musician said. The stand owner was stunned, he couldn’t believe what he was seeing or hearing. That’s exactly what the enemy wants us to believe. He wants us to think because he took something from us, like our health, peace, finanaces, a relationship it’s gone and will never come back. For us to feel hopeless and a victim for the rest of our lives. But the Master, wants us to know that whatever the devil has stolen from us, He wants to restore with something of better quality, quantity or both. He wants our lives to play a restoration song that sings of His glory, honor and praise for everyone to see that He has overcome the enemy in every way. What would you like to see restored in your life that the enemy stole? Then tell Jesus what you lost and rest in His restoration.
