I will offer You my grateful heart, for I am Your unique creation, filled with wonder and awe.
You have approached even the smallest details with excellence;
Your works are wonderful;
I carry this knowledge deep within my soul. Psalm 139:14 VOICE
The other day my Mom fell, hit her kitchen table and bench. She was blessed to only walk away with a black eye with a cut, a crack in her glasses and a long tear on her arm that only needed to be dressed and wrapped. Otherwise she was fine and never even felt stiff or achy the next day, which amazed everyone.
Two days later her eye was very colorful with purples, yellow and burgundy colors and her bandage needed to be changed. To our amazment at places it was already healing. Three days later, her black eye was almost gone, and her arm was healing nicely. Now you may say, well, she was lucky. But luck had nothing to do with it. The human body was created by God to regenerate and heal, but then through sin, disease and degeneration of our bodies enetered into this world. Yet David still could write that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Why? Because, Jesus through His whipping, death and resurrection bought our healing back, and for the most part, our bodies can heal themselves when injured.
We truly are a unique creation made with exellence down to the most minute detail. But way too often we forget how amazing and unique each one of us truly is. We all should take the advice of David where he says he carries that knowledge deep within His soul and so should we. Oh and by the way, my Mom is 90 years old, and her body still is healing, now that’s amazing!
