Through his power all things were made—things in heaven and on earth, things seen and unseen, all powers, authorities, lords, and rulers. All things were made through Christ and for Christ. Colossians 1:16
I hear more and more people, both Believers and non-believers talking about, how everytihng just seems to be out of control. The weather, the economy, the government, etc. In their voices you hear the hopelessness and futility of even trying to change things. The truth is things are out of control humanly speaking; but should we feel hopeless? Well, for those who don’t have a personal relationship with Jesus, the answer is yes according to Ephesians 2:12. But those who have accepted Jesus’ gift of salvation, there is always hope.
The problem most people have, again Believers and non believers alike is that we just look at what we can see. But this verse makes it very clear that there is an invisible world, a super natural realm where there is a war being fought between good and evil, It also makes it clear that not only did God create everything, but He is holding everything together in spite of Satan’s plans to kill, steal and destroy.
When we get a correct mindset about the supernatural, we get a whole new understanding of God. He isn’t using us like pawns on a chessboard just arbitrarily moving us in and out of situations. No, He works through the free will He has given His creation. Those who have the Holy Spirit living inside of them are empowered by Him to fight this war we’re facing in the visible world. His power is the greatest power available to man! We can make a difference in this world when we allow ourselves to obey and be used of God, which allows Him to fight in the heavenly’s in victory.
Stop trying to fight God and work with Him to accomplish His purposes and literally bring heaven to earth!
