Faith assures us of things we expect and convinces us of the existence of things we cannot see. Hebrews 11:1 (Names of God Bible)
The other day I got one of the greatest compliments ever. I was told “sometimes from things you say I wonder of you’re living in reality.” I said, “I’m well aware of the reality of this world.” And after the conversation ended, I smiled and said, “I just know the answers are found in the supernatural of the unseen.”
Truth is I am so weary of allowing the realities of this world keeping me from seeing and experiencing,” the goodness of God in the land of the living” Psalm 27:13. Now you may be thinking what’s so supernatural about goodness? Well, nothing if you use the English and modern definition of good/goodness. But not in the Hebrew (tov) where it means capable of, presently engaged in the process of, and destined for, completely fulfilling the Divine purpose for which it was created. That definition brings a whole new meaning to Genesis 1:31 where God looked at all His creation and said it was “good”.
I want to see that kind of goodness, where people are healed of all their diseases and infirmities, even when the doctors say there is no cure. Where there is provision for lack, even though it’s through our own poor decisions. Where relationships, hearts and lives beyond all hope are mended. When all you see and hear is bad news only getting worse. When the only explanation is “look at God”! When we declare “God is good and the time and all the time God is good. When the believer’s reality becomes the goodness of God and the reality of this world becomes just an annoyance and we walk in His victory over this world. Who’s ready to live in that reality?
