Let all that I am praise the Lord;
with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name.
2 Let all that I am praise the Lord;
may I never forget the good things he does for me.
3 He forgives all my sins
and heals all my diseases.
4 He redeems me from death
and crowns me with love and tender mercies.
5 He fills my life with good things.
My youth is renewed like the eagle’s! Psalm 103:1-5
Don’t you just love this passage? This Psalm is great to read out loud when you’re having one of those days. Or you just received some bad news or you’re just feeling out of sorts. Why? Because it reminds us that all the good things that the Lord has done for you has nothing to do with material things in life. It reminds us of the things He does for us that this world cannot.
When read out loud in the midst of a down turn or times of discouragement, you will find that as you read your spirit will become encouraged, your mind will begin to grasp the love of God and your heart will begin to be thankful, you’ll want to read it again and again until your spirit is restored and renewed. And by the way it’s always good to read it when you’re on the top of the mountain, because it reminds you what and Who is truly important in life.
