“And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” Matt. 21:22
We’re ending our third week of our Waterfall Revival Challenge and hopefully we all have been experiencing the Holy Spirit stirring us to spend more time being in Jesus presence and His Word. Allowing Holy Spirit to reveal places in our lives that need a fresh touch of our Savior and Lord asking Him to restore to us the joy of our salvation. Remembering all the benefits He provided for us on the cross and the victory that is ours through His resurrection.
Once we reignite the passion in our relationship with Him, we notice our prayers changing from self-focus to outward focus. We begin to see people in a different light, wonder if they’re saved or if they’re hurting because they have been wounded deeply, or confused by all the things that have been going on all around us. We no longer look at others with eyes of judgment, but rather with eyes of mercy and grace and hearts that long to see them coming to know Jesus, the only way to the Father.
Now we’re ready to go out into our places of employment, social settings, where we shop and eat and be the church. To love others as Jesus has loved us. To pray for opportunities to meet people, plant seeds even harvest what others have sewn for the Kingdom. All because we have prayed and asked for the Lord of the harvest to prepare and help us carry out sharing the plan of salvation so others will come to repentance and His will to be done.
