Stretch out your hand with healing power; may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” Acts 4:30
Today’s verse was a prayer made by the new Believers of the church in Jerusalem. The church was just beginning and growing quickly, probably because they prayed prayers like this. When was the last time we prayed prayers like this in private or together? The truth is, we need to start and quickly.
This week’s sermon is the Blessing of Healing. We will be digging deep into why we have such a difficult time believing that God wants all of us well. What are the things that are hindering us from believing that the same Jesus that healed everyone who came to him, is the same Jesus that now lives in every one who has accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord. Because blessings aren’t given just for us to use, but to pass on to others what has been given to us. Healing is one of the most needed things we need right now. So let’s pray this simple prayer often and believe that the Lord wants to work through us to show others our awesome God!
