Yesterday during my devotions, I was singing along to Psalm 23 and the Lord spoke to me and reminded me that the valley is always dark and so many unseen things are all around. But that we don’t have to go through it frightened or cautiously. It may be dark, but we not only have the Light of the world with us, but within us! And it is showing the way, after all He is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. The light also reminds us of the warmth of His love that never is depleted.
We also need to remember that the light that shines within us also needs to help others find the way and feel the love of God. During this time of uncertainty there is nothing more comforting as a warm light to help us see things more clearly and to know how much God loves all of us and wants to be in a relationship with Him.
If you’re finding yourself being anxious, worrying or feeling alone and unloved, Jesus would love for you to get to know Him better and receive His gift of forgiveness, healing and restoration. And to know you will be part of the family of God, with so many who would love to get to know you better.
If you would like to walk in a relationship with Jesus, just pray and ask Him to forgive you of your sins and ask Him to become the Savior and Lord of your life to help you walk in victory and restoration.
