We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5
I hear more and more people talking about the “crazy weather”. It’s like we’re living on a roller coaster of weather fronts and it’s not just in the US, it’s all over the world. To say the least it’s becoming annoying to people and they are feeling discouraged, frustrated and even depressed with the uncertainty of it.
Just like the weather front, many people have this same weather effect operating in their lives. Because of circumstances or other people they are confused and having a hopeless outlook on life. Satan uses these things to manipulate, control and keep minds focused on the negative. Even blessings and the positive things in life are overridden by these thoughts.
In John 10:10 Jesus tells us “The thief comes only to steal kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.” How often do we forget these words and allow the thief to kill and destroy our joy of life. When we seek a relationship with Christ and place our trust in Him we become empowered to overcome. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 reminds us that we have the divine power to demolish strongholds, arguments and thoughts that come against what we know God is trying to teach us. And our minds are being renewed.
If you are finding that you are experiencing instability and frustration from these weather fronts, spend some time in the Scriptures and with God, you will be amazed at the difference it will make in your life.
