“Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” God’s Decree. “Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. Amos 9:13 MSG
As I talk with people from all walks of life there seems to be a common thought: time is going by really fast. It seems like it’s trying to play catch up with the slow down over the past two years. Why is this happening? Because we’re living in the end times. This chapter is prophetic and the first part of it announces doom over Israel’s wandering from the Lord. But the last few verses the tone changes from one of judgment to one of hope and restoration.
According to the prophecy there will be a reinstatment to David’s Dynasty where the divided people will be united once again. And as a result enemies will be defeated and things will begin to be rebuilt and God’s people will see the fruit of thier shalom salvation. People, we are being prepared for the planting of the Word in people and the amazing harvest that will quickly follow. There are still so many people who have never heard the good news of the Gospel of Jesus and His grace. And since it’s God’s will that none should perish (2 Peter 3:9) and that Matthew 24:14 tells us not until the whole world hears the good news that the end will come. So we have a lot of telling to do.
Let’s embrace these amazing times and become more and more excited as we see revival spreading to places we never thought we would never be able to plant seed, let alone see a harvest! After all, isn’t that what Jesus told us to do as He left this earth so He could send His Holy Spirit to empower us, change the world and add to the Kingdom? If your answer is yes, then let’s get started!
