For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people. Titus 2:11
After Jesus answered two of the disciples questions, when the Temple would be destroyed and the signs of His second coming, He answered their final question about when the end of the age would come. He told them there would be a time of tribulation and many would be killed and suffer many things. But that even during that time God’s grace and mercy would still want to reach those who would want to accept His Salvation. And that He would send the 144,000 Jews to preach the Kingdom of God once again until everyone would hear.
Some may ask why God is taking so long and not stopping all this evil and destruction. But the truth is because He is merciful and loves even those who rise against Him longing for them to turn to Him. In this last week before His death, burial and resurrection Jesus took every opportunity and in many different ways to reach as many people as possible. And that one day the acceptable year of the Lord, the dispensation of grace will end and the day of vengeance and wrath will begin (Isaiah 61:1-2). We like Jesus must continue to reach out and speak the grace, mercy and love of the Gospel to bring a message of hope and healing to those who are still in the darkness. Let us be the light that leads them to the arms of Jesus so they too can be saved.
