Have the roots [of your being] firmly and deeply planted [in Him, fixed and founded in Him], being continually built up in Him, becoming increasingly more confirmed and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and abounding and overflowing in it with thanksgiving. Colossians 2:7 Amp.
Have you ever wondered what’s taking God so long to move in your life? You’ve confessed, you pray, you’ve fasted, you believe and still nothing. Frustrating isn’t it? Well, today may be the day that your frustration may turn into thankfulness.
The reason we get frustrated is because we think in our time and see the end result. But God can see beyond that and all the in between. He knows what is best for us and when we are ready to move on to the goal. When our roots are planted deeply in Him and His Word He can work in us and gradually take us to the next level.
Too often we might think we’re at a point we can handle it, but really we’re not. How many times have we seen people achieve a metoric success, only to crash and burn because they didn’t have what they needed sustain them. So instead of being frustrated thank God for preparing you, ask Him to reveal what you need to change or mature in, then wait patiently for your tree to become fruitful and strong.
