O Lord, now I have heard your report, and I worship you in awe for the fearful things you are going to do. In this time of our deep need, begin again to help us, as you did in years gone by. Show us your power to save us. In your wrath, remember mercy. Habakkuk 3:2
Today we get the opportunity and privilege as citizens of the United States and the Kingdom of God to vote for new leadership in our nation. And although we have strayed far from God as a nation, He is patient and merciful as He waits for His people to turn back to Him first. And I believe we have begun to do so as we see areas of revival all over the nation. This is only the beginning and once sweeping revival happens there will be an awakening that will consume and restore the spiritual and moral fiber and character of this great nation.
No matter what you may see or hear today, remember to keep you focus on Jesus and be thankful and praise Him for all He has done and all He will yet do. For His love, grace and mercy. For protecting and keeping us safe during the pandemic and through every trial and crisis. For never leaving of forsaking us even when we doubted and turned away from Him. For His Word that shows us His wonderful promises through His Son Jesus Christ.
So today make it a day of prayer, whether your at home, standing in line to vote, shopping, whatever you’re doing pray that Holy Spirit would awaken Believers to get out and vote, and for the Lord to open the eyes of all people to the truth, so that once again we can say we are one nation under God. Remind Abba that He would have saved Sodom and Gomorrah for 10 righteous people and that there are far more righteous people in these United States. And the many times He gave His people the victory when they were in a against all odds position; and thank Him that He did it before and He will do it again!
