Things May Not Be As You See

One thing I have learned from the Hallmark movies is things aren’t always as we see them to be. In the last half hour of almost every Hallmark movie one of the main characters sees or hears something that they percieve wrong. Within a few minutes, there is disappointment and heartache, all because what they saw or heard was not as it seemed. Now I know these are only movies, but it did get me thinking about how much in life we percieve in a wrong way that eventually leads to disappointment and making poor decisions based on a deception.

Now more than ever we need the wsidom and discernment that we can only get from the Lord. If you don’t believe what I am saying, consider some poor decisions you’ve made and think about what you based that decision on. Be honest all you need to do is remember a time you believed advertising. And yes, it’s as simple as that. Jesus loves us so much and He wants us to reach out to Him for advice and clarity when making even the smallest decision, especially if we feel uneasy about it. This is why it’s so important to learn the Scriptures because they hold the wsidom of God that will enable you to make good and profitable decisions for your life.

So next time  you have to make a decision, make sure you base it on the truth and use godly wisdom and discernment to make it. God’s Word and His Hly Spirit will never let you down when you seek Him and His wisdom and discernment.
