Then they went home and prepared spices and ointments to anoint his body. But by the time they were finished the Sabbath had begun, so they rested as required by the law. Luke 23:56
After the disappointment of Friday and fear of retaliation from the religious authorities . They went back home, some believe the upper room to hide and observe the Sabbath day rest.
May we make some time today to wait on the Lord and remember what He accomplished for us on the cross and then also remember Sunday Resurrection Day is coming and victory over the enemy forever!
Transformation Thought: Today we can rest in knowing our sin debt was paid in full.
