The heavens proclaim the glory of God.
The skies display his craftsmanship.
2 Day after day they continue to speak;
night after night they make him known.
3 They speak without a sound or word;
their voice is never heard.[a]
4 Yet their message has gone throughout the earth,
and their words to all the world.
God has made a home in the heavens for the sun. Psalm 19:1-4
Right now due to a solar storm the United States is being treated to viewing the Aurora Borealis also know as the Northern Lights. They are able to be seen further South than ever before and their beauty is amazing. What a wonderful way to start the weekend.
Right now this weary nation could use a good dose of today’s passage to remind us how the skies shout the glory and honor of God night and day. And because the sun is experiencing a major disruption the glory of God is seen father than it ever has before. It made me think about when we experience major disruptions we should remember that if we give the disruption to God He can make it into something more beautiful that we could ever imagine and be able to share the love of God with others as we tell them how He brought us through.
As you enjoy this weekend, every time you look into the heavens, listen for the story they are telling your heart about the goodness, greatness and glory of the Lord, and praise Him, even if your experiencing a storm.
