Everything on earth
has its own time
and its own season. Ecclesiastes 3:1
Did you ever think that the death and resurrection of Jesus is seen every day? Just as the suns sets, signifying the day is over, it also is telling us a new day has begun. With Jesus the end is never “the end”, it is only a new beginning. His death was the beginning of a new life for all who believe in Him. He conquered hell, death and the grave, so even when something dies in the life of a Believer, it means something new has just begun! Whether it be a day, a season, a job, a relationship, a week, a month, a moment, it doesn’t matter. It’s all in the past and there is new and uncharted paths in front of us.
In just 61 days, we will begin a new year, and after the past two years, most people are looking forward to 2022. But we need to remember the ending is as important as the beginning. Think about it every day is a day to prepare for a better tomorrow. Paul puts it this way, in w Corinthians 3:18, that we change from glory to glory. Every day is an opportunity to become more like Jesus. To think like Him, to act like like Him, to love like Him, to forgive like Him, to face the enemy like Him and to learn to impact the world like Him.
The only way to do this is to read, study and declare His Word and then follow what we learn of Him. As we become transformed, we will also see the world around us transform, because being in the presence of the Lord, we can’t help but to become more like Him. Join us as our congregation not only is looking forward to the beginning of 2022, but that we are taking the opportunity daily to become more like Jesus and end 2021 better than we started and will begin 2022 continuing the cycle of growing closer to the Lord and leading others to come into a relationship with Him.
