History merely repeats itself. Nothing is truly new; it has all been done or said before. Ecclesiastes 1:9 LBT
As we watch the news feeds of the rioting over the deportations of illegals and mass shootings around the world now, the first thing we think is, “here we go again.” And the next is how many more times is this going to happen?
The answer is who knows, but since we’re seeing Jesus’ signs of the end times being fulfilled daily, the push back of the enemy will only get worse. But Jesus also told us to have peace of heart and mind because He has overcome the world. He also encourages us to share the Gospel with everyone so that all will come to know Him as their Savior and Lord. As we share our life experiences walking with Him, we also are preparing ourselves for times like these.
The more we get to know Him, the better we are able to have His peace and understanding instead of being stressed, anxious and fearful. We can help show others the hope that only comes through a relationship with Him and actually enables us to look forward to Him coming for us while still enjoying our time here on earth carrying out His will. So let us pray for our leaders and that all those still need Jesus. Let us pray for the Lord to give us more opportunities to share the Gospel and to give us a boldness and strength to stand against the persecution we will face as we patiently wait to see Him face to face.
