Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you His peace at all times and in every way [that peace and spiritual well-being that comes to those who walk with Him, regardless of life’s circumstances]. The Lord be with you all. 2 Thessalonians 3:16
Don’t you just love the reassurance that Jesus speaks to us in this verse? I mean He is giving us His own peace, Himself, not through anything, but by Him personally. And this peace, is supernatural because it works at all times, in all circumstances and in every way.
This peace is not just a feeling or thought, it is an all encompassing deep knowing that Jesus is with us, even when it doesn’t look like it, sound like it or feel like it. It’s a knowing that develops as we walk daily with Him, getting to know His ways, His thoughts and Who He truly is.
There will be times in this walk we will feel alone and unloved and overlooked by Him. But this verse reminds us that when we continue to walk and interact with Him our trust will grow and His peace. A peace that destroys everything that is trying to destroy us, because it has become a part of who we are, for as He is, so are we in this world!
Transformation Thought: “When the world around you is shaking, trust that Jesus will be with you every step of the way. No matter what life throws your way, remember to always have faith and know that He is there for you.”
