It’s so easy to feel alone, fearful and unloved. But when we truly believe we are loved, we feel safe, secure, comforted, accepted and we belong. All those things embrace us like strong loving arms and keep fear, anxiety and stress away from harming us. It’s not that those things don’t exist, but that we have protection from them.
When we read today’s verse and meditate on it we will begin to embrace its truths no matter our circumstances. This verse reminds us that unlike humans who love us and have limitations to do so, God is always there, even when we don’t feel or see Him. When we remember that in the face of fearful or stressful circumstances it will calm our hearts and minds and we will be able to remember how much we are loved and valued. As we relax and let our Savior comfort us, if we listen closely we will be able to hear Him singing over us with songs of hope and peace.
Transformation Thought: When life gets overwhelming, take a deep breath and listen closely to your Father singing songs of comfort and hope over you.
