“Don’t be afraid!” Elisha told him. “For there are more on our side than on theirs!” 2 Kings 6:16
Elisha and his servant were being hunted down by the king of Syria with his vast army not only with foot soldiers but horses and chariots. They were surrounded in the city of Dothan and in the morning the servant woke up and looked out and saw they were surrounded and he began to panic.
But Elisha saw things differently, so he asked God to open his servants eyes. What he saw changed everything, for surrounding the Syrian army, was an army of angels on magnificent horses with chariots of fire that were greater in number and size than the enemy.
So what has you fearful? What seems to be surrounding you that is looking like you’re defeated? Although it is a very real threat, begin to look at it through God’s eyes who reminds us there is nothing too hard for Him nor impossible. For all things are possible with Him! Now that your eyes are open, open your ears to hear Him and your heart so that you will follow His lead and victory over whatever is coming against you.
