I was overjoyed when they said,
“Let’s go up to the house of the Lord.” Psalm 122:1 TPT
These days we should be even more grateful than David was to go to worship in the Lord’s House. Many church’s still have not opened up, others are outside and in this Pennsylvania summer heat, that’s not an easy thing to do. Others have opened their doors, but attendance remains low. Although not a prerequisite for worship, meeting together to do so brings an energy that only happens in a group of Spirit led Believers.
But we also need to remember that David was talking about the Temple and we are now the temple of the Lord. So even if we can’t be together physically we still can worship and God even has made a way for us to feel the anointing through the television, computer or other devices. No matter where or how we worship the main thing is still the main thing and His name is Jesus! After all, if He wouldn’t have come to earth to be our Salvation, worship would still be from a distance. But Praise God! He made a way, where there was no way to reconcile us back to God so we too can call Him Father.
