“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.” Isaiah 12:2
Yesterday I addressed what we saw, and the truth is, no matter who caused or did the attack on our Capitol, why it happened is what we should focus on. Because the why isn’t of this world, it is a supernatural hatred and deception that is continuing to function in our nation. And this is so important to remember, because we can not deal with this in the natural, but only in the supernatural. It is more important now more than ever, we the blood bought church need to stand united in Jesus Christ. We need to tune our ears more than ever to listen to Him and to be like Elisha to ask Him to open our eyes so we can see what He is doing and then do as He is leading.
It has become evident that deception is running rampant and we need to keep our eyes on Jesus, so we won’t be deceived by what we see and hear, but live by what we know; that the only One who can be trusted and relied on is Him. In Galatians 6:9 we are told not to get weary in well doing, that means we need to continue to do what we know is right. We need to keep praying for deception to be unveiled and for lies to be revealed until we see what we are praying for manifest. The enemy is banking on us getting weary and giving up, and in the natural that may happen, but not when we live by the power of Holy Spirit that is within us.
Now more than ever, we need to hold fast to this verse, when we place our trust in Him we will not be afraid and we will have strength beyond our human strength. We will be able to sing and rejoice even in the face of what seems to be defeat and we will then see what always happens when we stand with God, He always overcomes because He is greater than the one that is in the world! If you still don’t believe me, remember the victory of the cross and power of the empty tomb when the Light overcame the darkness, and the darkness will never be able to put it out!
