Pray always. Pray in the Spirit. Pray about everything in every way you know how! And keeping all this in mind, pray on behalf of God’s people. Keep on praying feverishly, and be on the lookout until evil has been stayed. Ephesians 6:18 TPT
Saturday was a day that will change the world. But it was just the beginning, we can’t stop, we need to keep praying. It wasn’t just a day of prayer, but also a day of repentance. We need to remember that true repentance isn’t just to turn around and go the other way, but to change our mental and spiritual attitude.
The things that we repented for in prayer and petition this weekend need to continue so we can not only be transformed by them, but that through our transformation the world around us will be changed. That we won’t become impatient and weary in waiting, but diligent, persistent and hopeful while we’re waiting to see our prayers being manifested. In the words of Winston Churchill, “Never give up, never give up, never give up!”
