With all the chaos, confusion and anger going on in our world today, it’s nice to know God has a place for us to go to get refreshed. That place is found in meeting with a group of Believers who form the church. I know sometimes even in church there are disagreements and tension and that’s because God sees us as His family. And families have disagreements and even hurt one another. But our response should be different from the world’s
When there is disagreement in the body of Christ, and it’s not a matter of if, but when, we need to take our offense and differences to one another and talk about it in love and respect. We need to remember that to disagree is an opportunity to learn more about one another, our passions, cares and concerns and find common ground and that is often our love for the Lord and His love for us. And when we do Holy Spirit takes over, forgiveness, grace and favor flows freely. Hurts are healed, offense is dismantled and we usually see a move of God that brings Him more glory and adding to His kingdom. There is power in unity and we need to utilize it more so we can reach out to a world who needs to see what love and forgiveness can do.
