No one’s ears have ever heard of a God like you. No one’s eyes have ever seen a God who is greater than you. No God but you acts for the good of those who trust in him. Isaiah 64:4
Yesterday’s devotion focused not only on strange things that are happening in our society, because our moral compass seems to be broken. But it also focused on ways we can begin to repair it and the first thing we need to do is refocus on our Abba Father. When I read today’s verse, my heart was so encouraged because it takes all the things that are going on around us and puts them in perspective.
For those who are willing to listen know there truly is no God like Jehovah. He is the God of impossibilities throughout the Bible. He’s a friend like no other and wants to have a relationship with Him.
He shows Himself in many different ways so we can see His glory. Those who take the time to look for Him will see Him and know it’s Him, because they know there is none greater.
Although He shows Himself to everyone, it is only to those who have placed their trust in Him that can see how He works all things together for their good. What an amazing truth, that no matter what we see, hear or even experience, He can take the very thing that looks like it’s going to destroy us and turn it into a blessing not only for ourselves, but for others and to reveal His glory. Knowing this we now can pray with power and authority, then rest and let God do the fighting, because the battle already has been won.
