Go through His gates, giving thanks;
walk through His courts, giving praise.
Offer Him your gratitude and praise His holy name. Psalm 100:4
Tomorrow is Sunday and for most Believers, it’s the Lord’s Day. A day to focus on Him as we fellowship together, partake in Communion, worship, praise, honor Him and rest from our usual full schedule. Well, at least that’s what the desire of His heart is for us, but with society as it is now we do anything but rest.
But what we can do in spite of everything else, we can be grateful and thankful to the One we owe our very lives to. For all the blessings He has provided for us, forgiving us especially when we don’t deserve it, for loving us even when we’re unloveable and because He was willing to exchange our lives for His.
So tomorrow as you drive to church and enter the parking lot and entrance, give Him thanks. As you walk into the sanctuary give him praise just for Him being Him you’re loving Abba, for your Savior Jesus and for Holy Spirit who is always with us. Thank Him for His Word that daily leads and guides and as you leave keep praising Him for He inhabits our praise!
