He Is There No Matter What

 Let your ^[a]character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] ^[b]Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor ^[c]give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, ^[d][I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor ^[e]let [you] down (^[f]relax My hold on you)! [^[g]Assuredly not!]   Hebrews 13:5

Have you ever felt like your world was spinning out of control? Like you’re living out Murphy’s Law on an almost daily basis? And wonder why? If you ever have had that talk with the Lord, then take comfort because you’re not alone. And honestly we shouldn’t be surprised, after all, Jesus told us that in this world we were going to have trouble, but He has overcome the world?( John 16:33)

And when you’re going through those times that verse is good to remember. But today’s verse in the Amplified Bible, couldn’t make it more clear just how much we are loved, cared for, encouraged and provided for even in the midst of confusion and trial. Although it’s a comfort to know He is our invisible means of support, where He says He never will forsake us is priceless. Because forsaking is more than physical or even emotional, it’s heart to heart and Spirit to spirit because what forsake means is He will never turn His heart away from us.

That’s right, no matter what, no matter how unfaithful we have been to Him, He always will be faithful to us (Hebrews 10:23). When it makes no sense to us, we can with all assurance go to Him and receive whatever we need and know He can take whatever is being used against us to destroy us and make it into something we can only hope dream and imagine. So if you are going through something right now, don’t withdraw from Him, go to Him seek out His comfort, care and guidance to lead you to His perfect purpose and end and prepare to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living (Ps. 27:13).
