The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous [those with moral courage and spiritual integrity] And His ears are open to their cry. Psalm 34:15
Today from 6 AM to 6 PM we are praying and fasting for God to reawaken His blood bought children to who we truly are in Christ. To remember that the One who lives in us is greater than the one who is trying to destroy this world. That although Satan is the father of lies and the great deceiver, Holy Spirit will remove the veil of deception and expose the lies that have not only blinded the world but specifically hindered Believers from remembering who we are in Christ Jesus.
We pray for clarity of not only mind, but purpose. For boldness and strength to stand on the Word no matter the push back. That we would speak the truth in love with words of wisdom and discernment to lead others to truly see Jesus and His love, grace and mercy. To look on others with compassion and treat them with kindness. To speak the truth in love that will cut to their hearts and see their need for a Savior. For wisdom and discernment for our leaders. To see the issues that are before us with clarity and seek direction from Holy Spirit. And the list could go on. And to thank Him that we already have received what we have asked for (Mark 11:24).
As we fast, to remember it’s not to change the situations and circumstances, but to change us. To draw us into a deeper and more intimate relationship with Jesus so we become more like Him. And as we change from glory to glory that we would have a greater impact and influence in the world just as Jesus did. And the anointing the His followers had when the church was young, for Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. What was accomplished in the first century can be accomplished again and the world will never be the same, and you can be a part of this third Great Awakening in this Great Nation.
