They will not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain, for the earth shall be filled with devotion to the LORD as water covers the sea. Isaiah 11:9 Hebrew Translation
One of the gifts we receive from Jesus is His wisdom. This wisdom is foundational and begins with us seeing Him with awe and wonder. Realizing everything we see He created and established and that He wants to have a personal intimate relationship with us. In order for this relationship to develop and deepen we need to build on the foundational wisdom He has given us. In Hebrew, it the word Da’at which means knowledge, but not learning facts and information, but a growing knowledge of who God truly is.
This can only happen when we get into His Word and learning His commandments, precepts and principles. We will then begin to see how much He loves us and wants to lead us through this life. He wants us to know Him like Moses in Exodus 33:11 Inside the Tent of Meeting the Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend. How do you speak to a friend? Is it casual or do you want the relationship to keep growing and deepening. How do you do that with a friend? You make time for them, you ask questions to get to know them better, right? Well, it’s the same way with the Lord, don’t treat Him casually, desire to not only meet with Him but fellowship with Him and as you dig deeper in His Word and talk with Him you will begin to see your perspective changing and you respond differently because you are becoming more like Him, you are growing in His wisdom.
