Then he said to me, “Speak a prophetic message to the winds, son of man. Speak a prophetic message and say, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, O breath, from the four winds! Breathe into these dead bodies so they may live again. So I spoke the message as he commanded me, and breath came into their bodies. They all came to life and stood up on their feet—a great army.’” Ezekiel 37:9-10
The last few days it’s been windy and it made me think of Holy Spirit. You can’t see Him, but He releases the power of God through us. Then I thought about Ezekiel in the Valley of the dry bones. This entire chapter reveals the power of the breath and Spirit of God to not only resurrect the dead, by put flesh and blood back on the dry bones and then breathe life into them. And then I thought about how we’ve been talking about the supernatural, which unfortunately has both the God and evil sides.
No matter how powerful the evil side appears to be, and I say appears, because the rulers, powers and principalities have been disarmed (Colossians 2:15) by Jesus; we need to remember greater is He who is in me (1 John 4:4) and we have all the power through Jesus Christ, so what do we have to fear? Nothing! When we embrace the power of God that lives within us, it not only changes us, but everything changes around us and that includes people for they can see not only the power, but the love, grace and mercy of God.
So whatever you want to see happen, speak to it. Speak to those mountains in front of you, tell those hindrances to be gone by the authority of the name of Jesus. Speak healing to your bodies, your cells, your organs, your circulatory system. Remind your brain that it’s cells are being restored every day and that you have the mind of Christ. Use the Word and breathe it over yourself often. As you do, you will find your relationship with God deepening and becoming more intimate and your light will shine more brightly for others to see.
