“Be still, be calm, see, and understand I am the True God. I am honored among all the nations. I am honored over all the earth.” Psalm 46:10
And the rush is on. The last big weekend before the dramatic end called Christmas. So here’s an idea, why not take a deep breath and take some time to be still and remember what Christmas is truly about.
Today’s verse reminds us that when we are still, we can see the things of God better, hear his voice and allow our minds and bodies to rest. When we do take this much needed time we will emerge with a renewed focus and mindset. Our bodies will feel rejuvenated and restored. We can accomplish more, then if we never had taken the time to spend in God’s presence. Try it, you will want to do it more often.
