As He Is

Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.  1 John 4:17

I know what a mind blowing thought it is that “as Jesus is, so are we.” But when we believe that the Word of God is true and inerrant, then we have to also believe that our relationship with Jesus means exactly that. When we accept Jesus and His substitutionary sacrifice for us on the cross and His forgiveness, we then receive His Holy Spirit. His Spirit, no makes us joint heirs with Him and His righteousness! We also now have His faith, His wisdom, His peace, His hope, His ability to heal and yes, even raise the dead!

Now I don’t know about you, but when I read that in God’s Word, I also have to see that we are living a less abundant life than Jesus died and rose again to give us. My friends let’s begin to embrace all Jesus truly is. Begin to believe that He is now sitting at the right hand of our Father, the place of authority and power ever interceding for us, so that we can show the world our Father just as He did. It’s time His blood bought children turn the world upside down just as He did when He walked this earth.
