My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek (crave, require as a necessity) My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear [them] from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer offered in this place. For now I have chosen and sanctified and set apart for My purpose this house that My Name may be here forever, and My eyes and My heart will be here perpetually. 2 Chronicles 7:14-16 AMP
Today our sermon was about light, specifically we, who the Holy Spirit dwells in is now the light to this dark world. We are the people that 2 Chronicles 7 is talking about. Through the light of Holy Spirit, we can pray and ask Him to reveal what is in us that is hindering our walk with the Lord and our influence in this world for Him. Once He shows us we need to be willing to repent (change our minds) away from those things and seek being in His presence continually so that His Light will once again burn brightly within us.
We must remember we are now the Temple of God where His presence lives. We have been chosen and set apart to carry and shine His light into the darkness and not only bring healing but health back to this nation. He not only is our hearts, but He reminds us we are in His and will be there forever. Believers have the greatest power known to man (dunamis- resurrection power) living inside of us, a laser light of God’s glory, love, grace, mercy and forgiveness. Healing of our nation begins with “we His people”, become the change that God is calling us to and He will heal our land.
