The first official Presidential Turkey Pardon was in 1989 by President George H.W.Bush when he said he officially pardons this Tom Turkey and he will be on no ones table. He actually went to Frying Pan Farm Park in Fairfax County, Virginia to happily live out the rest of his life. Most of the others also went to that farm. However some went to Disneyland and Walt Disney World, and many of them participated in the Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Like those turkey’s, we also have been pardoned by God when we accept His Son as Savior and Lord. Not so we can wait to go to heaven, but rather to live out our best lives here on earth. Our pardon equips us to live a supernatural overcoming life of dominion over the enemy. And it doesn’t just stop with us, we are enabled to speak healing, and deliverance over others and set them free from all the things that are trying to destroy us. So they too will want a relationship with Jesus and live the life of pardon and freedom.
