Today’s part of 2 Chronicles 7:14 is the culmination of what happens when God’s blood bought people, realize on an individual basis that only through Him can we truly live our lives and as we pray seeking His face to show us what is hindering our walk with Him and then choose to repent (change our minds) then He will not only hear us, but forgive us and heal our land.
Look at what today’s verse says; when we look for Him, we will find Him. But this is not just about finding something that is lost. It’s about finding the very core and purpose of our being, life itself, Jesus! When we finally see Him as our beginning and end and all we’ll ever need because everything we are and need are found in Him, then and only then will things turn around and things, personally, in our families, communities, nationally and through out the world.
Ask yourself, are you really searching for God for Who He is and to deepen your relationship with Him, or just to relieve the stress and uncomfortable circumstances we find ourselves in?
